Foreman: Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is duly under the Ministry of Culture and it is the leading organization for the archaeological researches and also active in the protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. Under other prime tasks the duties which are being performed by the ASI are the safeguarding and continuation of antique headstone and also the archaeological sites. ASI duly made many schemes that are related with the preservation of the remains of national importance. The maintenance of the glorious heritage is not a task to be performed by the single institute so it is being divided it the 24 circles and zones and out of these a major portion of responsibility is on the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and these duties are being performed by them with full dedication and enthusiasm.

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had 1 vacancy in their field that is for the post of the foreman for which the applications are being invited from the well deserving applicants so that this noble task of preserving our heritage could be in the safe hands and no harm is to be felt on any of the single element of culture.

Details which will relate the applicants to be eligible for the post are as mentioned to be below:

 Age limit: As reckoned on the date 30^th Sep 2013 the age of the applicants is required to be below 25 years and with it the relation in the age also to provide to the reserved category applicants.

Educational Criterion Set: Applicants must have the possession in the matriculation certificates and the experience which is required in the concerned field.

Selection Method: Performance of the applicants will be the sole criterion of the selection of the applicants with the verification of the documents.

Scheme to submit an application: Applicants need to send the application in the prescribed format with all the required documents and on the envelope scribing the name of post before posted to the ASI.

Documents that will be required to be submitted are as below:

ü       The proof of the caste of the applicants under the various reserved category under the suitable format of the government of India.

ü       Proof regarding the age and the identification of the applicants.

ü       The certificates of the educational qualification.

ü       Photo graphs that must be recently clicked and need to be of passport size.

ü       Residential certificate etc.

Important Date: Date on which the notification was being notified by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is 26^th Oct 2013 to the date 1^st Nov 2013.

ü       Applications must reach the office premises within the 15 days of the official notification being notified.
