India Post, Department of Posts, Chandigarh (Punjab Circle) has issued notification for direct recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) (erstwhile Group D employees) in Postal Railway Mail Service (RMS) and Administrative Offices in Punjab Postal Circle. Eligible applicants apply on or before 27th December 2013.

1. Post Offices - Total 37 Posts (Chandigarh - 03, Tuahiana (c) - 13, Ludhiana (M) - 05, Patiala - 01, sangrur - 01, Amritsar - 01, Bathinda - 01, Ferozepur - 03, Hoshiarpur - 03, Jalandhar - 02, Kapurthala - 04) 
2. RMS Offices - Total 22 Posts (RMS LD Dn.Ludhiana - 10, RMS I Dn.Jalandhar - 12) 
3. Administrative Offices - Total 09 Posts (Circle Office,Chandigarh - 05, PSD Ludhiana - 04)
Educational Qualifications: Matriculation or ITl from any recognized Board.
Examination Fee:  Rs.100/- should be deposited in a Post Office in Punjab or U. T. Chandigarh and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt. No fee for All Female Candidates / SC /ST & Physically Handicapped category candidates.
Selection Process: Aptitude Test (100 Marks - GK, Maths, English & Punjabi Language) [Multiple Choice Questions / Objective Type Questions]
How To Apply: Applicants are required to enclose attested/ self attested copies of all supporting documents, UCR Receipt for examination fee, two attested photos, one affixed on the application form & one spare photo attached with the application form and one self-addressed envelope Size 9"x4" with Rs. 40/-postage stamps affixed on it along with neatly handwritten/ typed application in prescribed form given along with the advertisement. The envelope containing the above shall be addressed to the concerned divisional head superscribed on the top in bold letters "Application for the post of MTS" and should be clearly addressed to concerned addressee as given in official advertisement (Below tabled link) itself.
