Assistant Lineman (Electrician Trade/ Lineman): 130 posts

Education qualification:

For post no 1: Should have done 18/ 24 months course in Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic trade from ITI with minimum 60% marks

For post no 2: Should have done 3 years ITC course in Lineman/ Electrician Trade with minimum 60% marks

Selection process:

At first written exam will be taken then Endurance test and Medical test will be taken to select candidates

Age limit: Should be between 18 to 35 years as on 15/04/2014 and age relaxation is as per the government rules

Fee: General/ Category-I/ 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B candidates need to pay Rs. 400/- and SC/ ST candidates have to pay Rs. 200/-

Pay scale: Selected candidates will be paid scale of Rs. 7950/- to Rs. 16790/-

Educational Qualification: For ITI candidates should pass certificate of 18/ 24 course in Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic trade from recognized Institute by the Govt of Karnataka and For ITC candidates candidates should have pass 10th standard examination and should pass certificate of three years Lineman trade / Electrician Trade imparted by ITI of KEB/ KPTCL.
