Educational Qualification: 

1. For Technical Assistant : Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry, Geophysics or Physics.
2. For Assistant Grade-III and Asst Technician : 3 years Diploma in various discipline.
3. For Jr. Assistant Technician : High School with Science or Class X equivalent Board Examination with Science and Trade Certificate in Electronics Engineering/ Radio Engineering.
4. For Jr. Technical Assistant : B.Sc with Geology/Chemistry as Main Subject.


Selection Process :
 Eligible Candidates will be required for a written test and shortlisted successful candidates will be called for Trade test/Physical Standards Test/Physical Efficiency Test and Interview. The Selected Candidates will be appointed subject to medical fitness as per rules of the corporation.


Application Fee : 
1. General and OBC Candidates need to pay Rs 300/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen Candidates need to pay Rs. 100/-.


Pay Scale : 
1. For A-2 : Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 27,000/-.

Who is Medical Officers: The medical officers or the physicians serve as consultants, advisers, and administrators. A medical officer is also known as a Health officer, medical officer for health or district health officer. Leaving the basic pay and other benefits the candidates also get a grade pay which is subjected to be around Rs 660 per month.
Responsibilities: The importance of a medical officer has always been worldwide. Their responsibility starts from diagnosing of the various diseases of the patients to the proper treatment of the patients – the officer has to keep themselves involved in every step of the treatment in the process of taking essential care of the patient. Clerical jobs are often called as white collar job as without clerks no office can run. So there is always a demand for the clerks in every place. They are needed in almost every industry like railways, hospitals, airways, banks, courts or any other organization – be it a private organization or a public organization.

Vacancies in Various Govt. Sectors

In the present year, many vacancies in the government sectors have been advertised for the clerical positions for the various government offices of different regions. Like there is a requirement of accounts clerk in Purulia Zila Parishad, which is government undertaking. There are 53 vacancies for the post of personal clerk of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). The vacancies for Indian Overseas Bank – Chennai have also been notified for the clerical position. They have advertised for a vacancy of 50 posts. There is another requirement for clerical position in Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) which has advertised for six vacant posts.

Salary

The pay scale for the clerical position varies from organization to organization. Like for the Purulia Zila Parishad the pay scale usually ranges between Rs. 5200-20200 and there is a grade pay of Rs.2800. The governmental banks generally have the pay scale within the range of Rs.7200 to Rs.19300 and then there is DA, HRA etc. as per the rules of the Bank which is in force. The pay scale of the clerks in various state electricity regulatory commissions is around Rs. 9300-34800.

Responsibilities

The clerks of any organization perform certain similar tasks like they assist the people who seek information, they are responsible for the maintenance and organization of the records and thereby retrieving the files for the personnel as and when required. They answer the telephone calls, direct calls and take the messages and then sort and distribute the messages accordingly. In certain organizations they deal with the bills, invoices, checks etc. They are responsible for preparing the official documents in case of any dealings. They operate the various office machines like scanners, printers, photocopiers, voice mail system, personal computers and restore all the supply closets with ink, paper, files, folders, pens, staplers, clips etc.
