Education Qualification:
Professor / Associate
Professor -> Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant
disciplines. Minimum 10 Years experience for Professor posts; Minimum 08 Years
experience for Associate Professor posts.
Assistant Professor -> Master's Degree level in a
relevant subject from an Indian
University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. The candidate must
have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Fee: Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/-
for SC, ST and Cat-I candidates) as processing fees drawn in favour of the
"FINANCE OFFICER, KARNATAK
UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD."
How To Apply: Applications in the prescribed forms
(in EIGHT SETS) are invited from qualified candidates of Indian nationality for
the below mentioned posts in the Post¬graduate Departments, K.U.
Dharwad/Karwar/Gadag /Haveri and in Constituent Colleges of the University. A
set of eight (8) prescribed application forms and Notification copy can be had
from the "DIRECTOR, PRASARANGA, KARNATAK UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD-580003",
in person on presentation of challan for having credited the amount of Rs.400/-
in the State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank, K.U. Campus, Dharwad, or by post
duly sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (28x12 cms) duly affixing
Rs.50/- Postal Stamp along with a crossed DD for Rs.400/-payable to the Finance
Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad-580003, or by downloading from University
official website in which case the prescribed application fees of Rs.400/- will
be payable through DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Karnatak University,
Dharwad-580003.
The
filled-in applications with necessary documents and a crossed DD should reach
the "REGISTRAR, KARNATAK
UNIVERSITY,
DHARWAD-580003", on or before 11/02/2014 (by 6:00 pm) by Registered Post.
