The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15th of November, 2000. An Act to establish theJharkhand Academic Council was enacted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of the State on 26.12.2003, which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 02.7.2003 which conducts secondary examinations. Some students have missed the chance to go for the exam and some got low/unsatisfied marks in their examination. So, JAC conducted its Class 12th Compartment/Supplementary Exam 2013 for these types of candidates so that they may get another chance for the re-selection. Normally, Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
