Gurkha Sepoys	328	18-25 years as on 01.01.2013. Age relaxation will be applicable to Ex-Army personnel as per existing rules.	Rs. 5,200- 20,200/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- with other allowance as admissible time to time.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed Class-VII or equivalent examination from any recognized institution.

Physical Standards:  The candidates must be of sound health and free from organic defects and physical deformity. The minimum physical standard is i)    Height-158 Cms; ii)    Weight-50 Kgs; iii) Chest-79 Cm (Un-expanded), 84 Cms (Expanded).

Selection Process: Physical Test, Viva-Voce, Odia Test. The recruitment test will be held w.e.f. 11.11.2013 at OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, Odisha and at Kunraghat of Gorakhpur district(Uttar Pradesh) in the months of November/December, 2013. The date of recruitment of Gurkha Sepoys at Kumnraghat(Gorakhpur) will be notified later on. The Candidates may specify their option to appear the recruitment test either at OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, Odisha or at Kumnraghat (Gorakhpur), Uttar Pradesh.
