JSAC Ranchi Vacancy Details: Total No. of Posts: 12 Name of the Posts: 1. Project Scientist (Backlog): 04 posts 2. GIS Operator: 03 Posts 3. Administrative Assistant: 01 Post 4. Field Operator: 03 Posts 5. Junior Research Fellow: 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 years for Post No.1, 2 & 3 and should not exceed 28 years for Post No.4 & 5 as on 31-07-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Forestry/ Geography/ Hydrology/ RS & GIS/ Geo-informatics with first class for Post No.1, B.Sc.in Agriculture/ Soil/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Forestry/ Mathematics/ Physics/Information Technology from a recognized university/ institute for Post No.2, Graduate Degree from recognized university with first class and basic knowledge of computers for Post No.3, passed 10+2 with 60 % marks and one year Diploma in Computer Applications for Post No.4 and M.Sc in Remote Sensing/ Geo-informatics/ Environmental Science/ Geology/ Geography/ Forestry with first class for Post No.5.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview.

The On-line registration of applications will be available on website of JSAC http://jsac.jharkhand.gov.in from 10:00 AM 05-09-2013 to 5:00 P.M 15-09-2013. Candidate should fill in the application form and take a print out along with registration number and attested send along with attested copies of mark sheets of SSC, educational qualification certificates, caste certificate, experience and two recent passport size photographs etc enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the Post of ____” by speed post /registered post to Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Center, 2nd Floor, Engineers Hostel-I, Dhurwa, Ranchi (Jharkhand) PIN-834004 on or before 22-09-2013 up to 05:00 PM.
