Age Limit (as on 27/12/2013): Data Entry Operator – 25 Years; For other posts – 30 Years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation for government servants upto 5 years and 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC & ST candidates in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
Pay Scale: Data Entry Operator - PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-; For other Posts - PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Plant Protection Officer (Entamology / Nematology) –> M.Sc degree in Entomology or Nematology or M.Sc degree in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology or Nematology or M.Sc degree in Zoology with speciali7alion in Entomology or Nematology from a recognized University or Institution.
Assistant Plant Protection Officer (Plant Pathology  / Virology / Bacteriology) –> M.Sc degree in Plant Pathology or M.Sc degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or Institution.
Assistant Plant Protection Officer (Weed Science) –> M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy) with specialization in Weed Science or M.Sc. degree in Botany with Weed Science as a subject from a recognized University or Institution.
Investigator (Group-C) –> Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics or Statistics or Economics as a subject.
Data Entry Operator –> Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
Application Fee: Rs.50/-. No fee for SC/ST/ Female / Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Fees should be paid only by way of CRFS.
