citizens of India and such other candidates (declared eligible by the Ministry
of Home Affairs, Government of India) to fill up 4655 vacancies of Porter /
Trackman / Helper-II and Group D posts.

Age Limit: 18 to 33 Years as on 01.01.2014. Age relaxation as per
Government Rules. Age Proof - (a) Matric Certificate issued by Board, or, (b)
School Leaving Certificate counter signed by Inspector of Schools
/Headmaster/District Education Officer.
Minimum Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or ITI / Centre of
Excellence (COE) or equivalent.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order
only, the fee drawn in favour of “Assistant
Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), EC Railway”
payable at Patna. The fee exempted from SC/ST community candidates / Women /
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) or Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates /
Ex-Servicemen / Candidates belonging to economically backward class having
annual family income of less than Rs. 50,000/-.
How To Apply: Candidates should submit the applications either in Hindi or
in English in the prescribed format. The application should be on good quality
A-4 size bond white paper using one side only. Candidates should
fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting either in Hindi or in
English with blue or black ball point pen only.

Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna
On the envelope containing the application,
"APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE
POSTS IN PAY RAND-1 + GRADE PAY RS.1800/-, EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO.
RRC/ECR/GP1800/1/2013", should clearly be written. Physically
Handicapped candidate should mention 'PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CANDIDATE' at the
top right side of the envelope
